I really like eating at Subway, although I really don't go there too often.   They're a little expensive, and there really aren't any 'on the way', so to speak.  When I do go there, I feel a little guilty buying something I know I could perfectly well make at home, but it just tastes different somehow, you know?

In my 24+ years of life, I can only remember ordering tuna sandwiches.  My favorite way to get them is as follows:

  • Tuna on Asiago or Parmesan Bread

  • Cheese

  • Mayonnaise

  • Lettuce

  • Jalapeņos

  • Banana Peppers

Recently, however, I've come across a pretty good recipe for Tuna salad which is just as good as Subway's, so I have even more trouble justifying paying $4.50 for a sandwich.

Nicki loves the Seafood and Crab

  • Seafood and Crab on Asiago or Parmesan Bread

  • Onions

  • Black Olives

  • Salt & Pepper

  • Oil

  • Mayonnaise

One day, Nicki decided to try something different. She got the Southwest Chicken sandwich, and ever since that's all she's gotten-- the Seafood & Crab is history!

  • Southwest Chicken on Asiago or Parmesan Bread
  • Cheese
  • Onions
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Black Olives
  • Horseradish Sauce
  • Asiago Cheese Sauce
  • Honey Mustard Sauce

For the first time ever, today I ordered something other than Tuna.  I also got a Southwest Chicken sandwich, ingredients as follows.

  • Southwest Chicken on Asiago or Parmesan Bread
  • Cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Mayonnaise
  • Jalapeņos
  • Banana Peppers

DELICIOUS!

Now for your viewing pleasure, I present the results of a google image search for "subway"
