The gist of this comedy revolves
around a contest being held by the eccentric casino millionaire played by
John Cleese (Monty Python). The contest pits a group of people against
one another in a race to a distant city to nab the prize of two million
dollars. It's a pretty straightfoward comedy, but it really shines with
the performances of Dave Thomas, Jon Lovitz, and especially Rowan Atkinson
(Mr. Bean). There's a lot of really funny people in the movie who make
this one worthwhile to watch.
The fact that some of the scenes, like the hilarious 'hitler-car' skit,
seem so outrageous and planned, does nothing to lessen the FUNNY.
